The WEC made official what everyone knew would happen the minute Urijah Faber lost to Mike Brown – and the rematch is set for Sacramento, California on Sunday, June 7.


The event, which will take place at the Arco Arena, the home arena of the California Kid Urijah Faber and the 145 lbs. title that languished on the waist of Faber for so long will again be up for grabs but this time Faber will be the challenger.


Just last year it seemed implausible that Faber would go into a 145 lbs. title fight as the underdog but that may just happen this time as the hulking featherweight Mike Brown states his case as the best featherweight on the planet with another fight with Urijah Faber who might be the most popular 145 lbs. fighter on the planet.


No other bouts for this card were officially announced by the WEC.
