UFC signs TV deal in BrazilBrazil, a that has produced some of the best fighters in the world including the UFC interim heavyweight champion Rodrigo Nogueira, and the UFC middleweight champion finally has a three-year “television distribution agreement with Globosat.”

 

Beginning with UFC 92: THE ULTIMATE 2008 which will see the aforementioned Nogueira defending his interim belt against Frank Mir, Globosat’s subscription channel Premiere Combate, will air all UFC live events and other feature UFC programming.

 

“We are thrilled to have the world’s most exciting live sports event – the UFC – available through Globosat,” said UFC president Dana White, in a press release. “We have over 20 Brazilian fighters in the UFC, including our Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, Interim Heavyweight Champion “Minotauro” Nogueira, Wanderlei Silva, Lyoto Machida, Gabriel Gonzaga, and the list goes on and on. Now fight fans in Brazil can see their fights and follow their favorite fighters starting December 28th with “Minotauro” and Wanderlei at UFC 92.”
