UFC signs new two-year deal with WOWOWStarting with their latest endeavor in the UK, UFC 89 “Bisping vs. Leben”  WOWOW will be telecasting all UFC PPV events for the next two years. WOWOW will telecast in High Definition with a limited delay broadcasts.

Japan is an important market for the UFC and there have even been events planned to run in the land of the rising sun but for one reason or another have fallen through. MMA is huge in Japan, and with Dream ratings faltering the UFC’s presence there is an important one for the biggest promotion in the world, and it is fully expected that sooner or later, the UFC will hold events there.
