The UFC will make it’s third straight March appearance at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on March 7, 2009 with UFC 96. The first time there the UFC set a record for most paying fans at an MMA event with about 19,000 fans, eclipsing the mark held by Strikeforce.

That mark has since fallen to their event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Tickets will go on sale on December 27, the same day of UFC 92 “The Ultimate.” No main event or potential match-ups were announced in the UFC press release.
