Philadelphias first taste of the UFC is beginning to form as the UFC made several more bouts official today for UFC 101 on August 8, at the Wachovia Center. The recently announced Forrest Griffin vs. Anderson Silva bout and the main event of BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian will be joined by the following matchups.
Josh Neer and Kurt Pellegrino, both of whom have recent losses to Nate Diaz, will be looking to get back into the title mix. Pellegrino, who sits at five wins and three losses in the UFC will be looking to quell the momentum of The Dentist who is coming off a solid victory over Mac Danzig and sports a 4-4 UFC record.
