The UFC added three newcomers into the fold at UFC Fight Night which takes place at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska on September 17. Dan Miller, Jason Brilz, and Mike Massenzio will make their debuts on the Spike card that will serve as an intro into the eighth season of the Ultimate Fighter TV series.
Wrestling standout Jason Brilz has only one loss in 17 fights and boasts a resume with victories of TUF veteran Alex Schoenauer, UFC veteran Jason MacDonald, and a draw with Justin Eilers. He will make his debut against Brad Morris who lost his last bout against Cain Valasquez.
The IFL exodus continues with Dan Miller who will me making his Octagon debut fresh off a victory over Ryan McGivern, he is 8-1 coming into his inaugural UFC appearance and will put his record on the line against Rob Kimmons who defeated Rob Yundt in his first UFC bout.
Mike Massenzio has victories over TUF veteran Dante Rivera, and the aforementioned Dan Miller, however he is in a unique position coming into an inaugural Octagon appearance with his most recent fight a loss. The IFL veteran lost to Danillo Villefort in his last fight and will be looking to reverse the trend against the hard-hitting Drew McFedries who is 3-2 in the UFC.
