Sean Sherk has found his next opponent and it will be the up-and-coming Xtreme Couture product Tyson Griffin. The entertaining young fighter –the only one to defeat Urijah Faber -  will be put against his toughest challenge to date in former 155 lbs. champion Sean “The Muscle Shark” Sherk. The bout will take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois October 25. Sherk is coming off a loss to BJ Penn in May and a six-month California State Athletic Commission imposed suspension. This fight is expected to be on the main card and go a long way to deciding who will be next in line to step into the number one contendership bout with Kenny Florian.  

Also added to the card are Josh Burkamn vs. Pete Sell in a welterweight bout, and Hermes Franca vs. Gleison Tibau in a battle of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu experts.
