Dana Whites apparent hatred for Tito Ortiz (15-6-1) is apparently less than his hatred of seeing him perform in another organization, so the love-hate relationship with White will continue to boil anew as Ortiz and the UFC announced a new deal that according to Dana White will see Ortiz retire in the UFC.
A less-than-impressive record of 0-2-1 in his last three fights was not enough to deter White from re-signing a fighter he once managed before he became the president of the UFC.
Rumors of negotiations between Strikeforce had trickled out but with few light-heavyweight options for Ortiz the UFC always appeared to be the best place for the former champion.
The rumored return could take place in November or December. bOrtiz is rumored to be facing off against fellow wrestler and former UFC heavyweight champion Mark The Hammer Coleman who is fresh off a victory over Stephan Bonnar.
