The UFC announced the Spencer Fisher will return to action against Japanese fighter Kauru Uno on the undercard of UFC 99 Franklin vs. Silva in Germany.

 

 

Kauru Uno was formerly a UFC lightweight contender and actually fought to a draw in a title fight with BJ Penn in the final bout of a lightweight tournament. Uno left the UFC in 2003 following a devastating knockout loss to Hermes Franca. He has had a bit of a mixed record of late and is 3-3 in his last 6 fights.


Spencer Fisher also has a knockout loss to Franca on his record and is currently riding a two-fight winning streak. He too has had some mixed success in the Octagon but both fighters are known for their entertaining styles so this bout should be an entertaining one.

UFC 99 will take place in Germany at the Lanxess Arena on June 13. The tentative card is as follows.
