Both fighters were introduced in the octagon to announce the fight at Ultimate Fight Night 3 and Matt Hughes told Joe Rogan, I have done a lot in this sport. If you write down everything I did on a piece of paper, there would be a lot on the table but I have never fought a legend, and Royce Gracie is a legend. The flattery ended there however and when Rogan asked Hughes if he felt that Gracie was behind on the times he simply answered, Yes! Gracie was introduced to an appreciative crowd and proclaimed about the Octagon that This is my house, I built it! and also added It is the old champion against the new champion the young champion. The fight will take place in May at UFC 59.
