MMA Ring Report scoured the weigh ins of the “Ultimate Fight Night” and had top fighters and trainers give their thoughts on some of  the fights that will take place at the Cox Pavillion tomorrow in Las Vegas Nevada.

Nathan Marquardt on opponent Ivan Salaverry
” Ivan is a great fighter he is awesome but I am the best in the world and I am going to win and stop him in the third round.” Marquardt makes his UFC debut against Ivan Salaverry.

Coach Matt Serra on student Pete “Drago” Sell who will fight Nate Quarry
“ I think people are going to be impressed with “Drago.” He is just 22 years old and all aspects of the game. He is the definition of a mixed martial artist. He has been with me forever on the ground, he is a brown belt under me in jiu jitsu. Fantastic in submissions, and jiu jitsu in general and he has been working his stand up like crazy. I think he is just such a well rounded tough kid, mentally he has got such a good mental attitude for this game that he is going to pose a problem for anyone in that weight division. I think that Nate is has got a big task ahead of him. “

Guy Mezger on Pete Spratt who will face Josh Koscheck
“It is going really well, we have known Pete for a long time, we kind of grew up together in the Karate program, he is going up against a really good wrestler, so he came to us wanting some answers against that type of fighter, so we worked with him, he is in realy good shape and we expect to knock him out. “
