Mike Pyle steps up against Brock Larson at UFC 98

The oft-travelled Mike Pyle will make his UFC debut tomorrow taking a short notice fight against Brock Larson in a preliminary bout. Pyle has been a fixture at Extreme Couture and has cornered the UFC Hall-of-Famer in the past, but curiously, never made the jump to the UFC until now.

He has had somewhat of an up-and-down career having notable losses to Quinton Jackson, Matt Horwich, and Jake Shields. Notable victories include Jon Fitch, Shonie Carter and Brian Gassaway.

Pyle sports a record of 17-5 and is one of only a handful of fighters that is a veteran of many of the high-profile organizations such as the IFL, EliteXC, Strikeforce, Affliction, and now the UFC.

The full UFC 98 card is as follows.

Rashad Evans vs. Lyoto Machida
Matt Hughes vs. Matt Serra
Drew McFedries vs. Xavier Foupa-Poukam
Dan Miller vs. Chael Sonnen
Sean Sherk vs. Frank Edgar
Brock Larson vs. Mike Pyle
Pat Barry vs. Tim Hague
Phillipe Nover vs. Kyle Bradley
Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Andrew Gusmao
Yoshiyuki Yoshida vs. Brandon Wolff
Dave Kaplan vs. George Roop
