The Athlete returns to Octagon at UFC 72 Jason MacDonald earned the nickname "TUF Killer" by finishing off Ed Herman and Chris Leben in stunning fashion. And now MacDonald is looking to make it a hat trick of victories over competition from "The Ultimate Fighter" reality show when he meets Rory Singer at UFC 72 - Victory. The Pro Camp Sports Management fighter will make his fourth trip into the Octagon on June 16 at The Odyssey in Belfast, Northern Ireland. "Ive had tremendous success against the guys from the reality show and the reality of it is that Rory Singer is going to be the next victim of the "TUF Killer," said MacDonald. "I worked my way into the upper echelon of the UFCs middleweight ranks by tapping out Herman and then choking out Leben and Singer is going to go down just like the other two did." This will be MacDonalds first fight back after losing by technical knockout (corner stoppage) after two rounds against former UFC world champion Rich Franklin at UFC 68 - The Uprising back on March 3. MacDonald explained that he learned a lot from that loss to Franklin and vowed to be fully on his game plan when he squares off against Singer. "I wasnt able to do the things I wanted to do against Rich, but Im making adjustments and I promise not to disappoint the awesome fans I have all over the world especially those whove cheered for me the longest right here in Edmonton and all over Alberta," added MacDonald. "Jason will on the top of his game," said Mark Pavelich, MacDonalds manager and owner/president of Pro Camp Sports Management. "Jason will take care of business against another reality show pretender and catapult himself back among the top fighters in the UFC."
