It is rumored that Jonathan Goulet could be fighting UFC veteran Jeremy Jackson in his next fight. Goulet is coming off a win over Jay Heiron in his first UFC appearance and was rumored to be fighting Ansar Chalangov in his second fight. Instead he faced off against Shonie Carter, defeating him quickly in the first round and is now rumored to be facing Jackson in his second UFC fight. Jackson is coming off a long layoff and has not fought MMA very often recently, in fact fighting only once in over two years. Jackson is a feared striker and is known for victories over such fighters as UFC veteran Nick Diaz and Shonie Carter.
