Canadian David “The Crow” Loiseau will be fighting former UFC middleweight champion Evan Tanner at UFC 55 in October. It will be the biggest fight in the short career of the Montreal product and “The Crow” has nothing but respect for Tanner and told MMA Ring Report, “Its an honor, and I really believe its time for me to fight a UFC veteran like Evan Tanner. It is done now, I made my adjustments in my fighting style, whoever I fight, I will make sure that the fight WILL be exciting. The MMA fans show me sooo much love man!... I will refuse to let them down. REFUSE!”

Loiseau is excited about the possibilities in the UFC middleweight division and gave us his thoughts on a burgeoning division. “The UFC MW division is very stacked, full of crazy, athletic and skilled fighters in this division. Everyone’s a threat to everyone. And the one’s, who don’t believe that, will not stay around for long. Rich Franklin is a solid MW a complete fighter, but like I said, everyone is dangerous in that division. One thing’s for sure though, "the Crow" is definitely UFC championship material, but right now, it’s all about staying focused and beating one man.”
