Smith is coming off an impressive victory over Justin Levins in the World Extreme Cagefighting event and is known as an exciting fighter that puts on a great show for the fans. Smith has a record of 10-1 with his only loss a KO at the hands of fellow UFC veteran James Irvin.

He will be facing off against Cesar Gracie product, "The Soul Assasin" Dave Terrell who started off his career in the UFC with a huge win over Matt Lindland but lost his title fight with Evan Tanner in his next fight. He has not fought since and has been out of MMA action for over a year and will have had only one fight in almost two years when it comes time to fight Smith. Terrell trains with Nick Diaz and will be the favorite heading into this fight.
