Former WWE star Brock Lesnar will be making his way to the UFC for the
first time and his first opponent will be no walk in the park.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Frank Mir will stand in his way. It is a
little surprising that the UFC would give him an opponent like Mir
Considering it is only his second MMA contest but I guess there are no
easy fights in the UFC. Frank Mir has had a very up and down UFC
career, culminating with a UFC heavyweight championship victory over
Tim Sylvia. He has the task of introducing Lesnar into the UFC and this
fight should be interesting if anything considering the vast disparity
in the number of MMA fights between the two. UFC 81 takes place on
February 2 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas the day before the
Superbowl. |
