 While Sean Sherk sits in the sidelines waiting
on news from the California state athletic commission an interim title
will be on the line as BJ Penn faces Joe Stevenson in a lightweight
contest. B.J Penn will be fighting for the Lightweight title for the
third time, missing out the first time in a loss to Jens Pulver and the
second time drawing with Kauru Uno. He will be facing the winner of the
Ultimate Fighter 2 Joe Stevenson who has steadily been climbing the UFC
ranks since becoming a lightweight in the UFC. |
