The UFC officially added two bouts to the Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale and Jason MacDonald will take on Wilson Gouveia in a middleweight contest and Anthony Johnson will rematch Kevin Burns. Jason MacDonald is be looking to continue his streak following an impressive victory over Jason Lambert at UFC 88.
In that bout it was Lamberts first foray into the middleweight division and JMac will be facing a first time middleweight for the second time in a row as the impressive Wilson Gouveia from ATT will make his way to the 185 lbs. division. MacDonald has spent some time at ATT in the past so it will be interesting how this fight plays out.
Kevin Burns will also be making his return against Anthony Johnson in a rematch many fans feel needed to happen. In the first bout Burns defeated Johnson with an illegal eye poke that not only cost Johnson the fight, it cost him a trip to eye surgery. Johnson is back and ready for revenge in a bout he never feels he lost. (MMARR recently did an audio interview with Johnson talking about the Burns fight so check it out in the multimedia section.)
