Dana White announced on UFC.com that Quinton Rampage Jackson and Sugar Rashad Evans will be the competing coaches of The Ultimate Fighter 10 which will premiere Wednesday, September 16 on Spike TV. The finalists will compete on December 5th at the live finale with the winner again taking the obligatory 6-figure UFC contract.
Quinton Jackson returns to the coaching after coaching against Forrest Griffin on TUF 7. He subsequently lost his title to Griffin when they fought following the conclusion of the TV show, and it is expected both fighters will settle their differences following the conclusion of Season 10.
For the first time since season 2, heavyweights will be featured on the TV show and will be the only weight class on the program. Of all the heavyweights from TUF 2, only two fighters remain UFC fighters - Keith Jardine, and Rashad Evans, both of whom now compete at light-heavyweight.
