MFC signs deal with HDNet fights.

“It means a lot to our organization to be on TV and to be involved with quality individuals like Mark Cuban, Guy Mezger, and Andrew Simon,” said MFC president Mark Pavelich. “HDNet has helped the MFC immensely.”
With that in mind, HDNet and the Maximum Fighting Championship have consummated a new deal that will see Canada’s biggest promotion continue to broadcast live events exclusively on Mark Cuban’s HDNet.

“HDNet will continue to showcase the premiere MMA promotion in Canada to millions of fans in North America,” said HDNet Fights’ CEO Andrew Simon, and considering the names that are now competing in the MFC that is little surprise.

With UFC veterans such as middleweights Jason MacDonald and Trevor Prangley, OPaul Daley, Nick Thompson, former UFC title contender John Alessio, David Heath, and up-and-coming stars such as Bobby Lashley the MFC roster is currently the highest profile in the country.

The next MFC event will take place at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, Alberta, October 2, 2009.
