Several Springs ago, Chael Sonnen headed off to wrestling practice like he did normally numerous times before, his training partners Randy Couture and Dan Henderson were there as usual, but this time something was different. I show up for practice and everyones wearing gloves instead of wrestling shoes, says Sonnen of his introduction to mixed martial arts, I didnt have much of a choice. |

The Butcher is speaking. If there is one thing, Arnold, that I am good for is
I am good for my word. Bill Mahoods words resonate loudly, they are interesting words to be sure, and the fact that they come from a man that has been dubbed The Butcher, makes for interesting listening. |

Recently I got the chance to play catch up with WFA promoter and mixed martial arts veteran John Lewis. You may remember him from the successful career he had. An active John Lewis has been involved with the sport since the beginning and continues to do his part to help get the sport where it belongs. The mainstream. |

MMARR's Joe Blaze recently got a chance to sit down with Javier "Showtime" Vasquez and get the MMA world caught up with the former King of The Cage lightweight champ. Vazquez is a true warrior and he truely fit the shows billing of "Warriors Spirit". Mr Blaze got a moment to ask him questions and thought people would like to know what was on his mind while he was relaxing before his tough fight with Rob Emerson at Shooto Warriors Spirit Vegas. |

I got an email telling me that Javier Vazquez wanted to respond to some of the things that King of the Cage Promoter Terry Trebilcock had to say about him in his interview, conducted after the KOTC Invasion event in February. He wanted to set the record straight so when I returned his call, I was intrigued by what he had to say

Terry Trebilcock is a King among Kings. The leader of the world renowned King of the Cage Mixed Martial arts organization has had fighters such as Quinton Rampage Jackson, current UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez, Javier Vazquez, Shonie Carter and many more spend time fighting in his organization at one time or another. He was kind enough to spend a little time out of his busy schedule to talk to us only one day after the biggest event in the history of the King of the Cage, KOTC 21 Invasion. In the interview we talk about Javier's heart, Bobby Hoffman and his friendly competition, the UFC. |

Chuck Liddell has been tearing it up in the Lightheavyweight division in the UFC for quite some time. He has taken on all comers beating challenger after challenger in the UFC and even Pride, on one occasion, patiently waiting for his shot at the Light Heavyweight Crown that Tito Ortiz currently holds. It looks like Mr. Liddell is tired of patiently waiting in the wings. MMA ringreport had a chance to talk with him and this is what he had to say. |

I have been traveling to Thailand to train in Muay Thai since 1990. In 1998 at the Fairtex Muay Thai Camp just outside Bangkok I had the honor and the privilege to train with the legendary Arjarn Apidej in Muay Thai. I have been going back ever since. For a man with such vast experience and legendary status in Muay Thai what amazes me every time I go and train with him is how humble and down to earth he is. He is always smiling and gives you encouraging words whenever possible. |
