With TKO 22 "Lionheart" coming up next Friday, I thought i'd experiment with a different way of doing previews and I will be trying something a bit more simple and methodical. I will be comparing each fighter's strengths and weakness and extrapolating a prediction on what SHOULD happen, minus the chaos factor of a fight. So, my analysis is about what SHOULD happen. I'd like to have your general feedback about this formula. TKO 22 will be taking place at the Pierre Charbanneau centre in Montreal on September 30th.

Id like to have your general feedback about this formula. TKO 22 will be taking place at the Pierre Charbanneau centre in Montreal on September 30th. Steve Vigneault Vs Jason St-Louis
Vigneaults particulars: Great boxer, very aggressive, has a lot of heart, very hard to take down, coming back from a couple of hard losses. St-Louiss particulars: Good boxer too, very complete, very intelligent and well prepared fighter. What SHOULD happen?: Even the wiser ones can get psyched out in an intense fight atmosphere. The place is going to erupt for the Lionhearts comeback and I think St-Louis might get trapped in the daze and will try to trade blow for blow with Vigneault, in an exchange that might play against him. Vigneault by unanimous decision. Marvin Eastman Vs Yan Pellerin
Eastmans particulars: Very strong, very athletic, powerful low kicks, experienced wrestler, doesnt always have a good fight plan, questionable chin. Pellerins particulars: Aggressive brawler, good takedowns, good ground and pound, usually HAS a good fight plan, had some injuries in the past. What SHOULD happen?: Im predicting the upset here. Eastman hasnt been impressive in a while. Pellerin isnt exactly UFC championship material, but hes a durable, no nonsense fighter whos going to take advantage of Eastmans dilemmas on the ring. Pellerin will take Eastman down and work his way into a decision from there. Pellerin by split decision Ryan Diaz Vs Mark Hominick
Diazs particularities: Good knees, very fast, very athletic, versatile fighter, good submissions, on a hot streak. Hominicks particularities: Great kickboxer, blazing hand speed, great ring generalship and ring movement, has shown holes in his ground game. What SHOULD happen?: Damn, again I predict another upset. Diaz is hot stuff right now. Hominick is going to be really hard to beat, but Diazs aggressive nature is going to make the difference this time. Hes going to trade with Hominick until he has room for a takedown and then work his magic from there. Diaz by submission in the third. Chris Horodecki Vs Stéphane Laliberté
Horodeckis particulars: Very short fighter, very young but has already a lot of experience, billed as a future star, on a hot streak. Lalibertés particulars: Very agressive, wild stand-up, awkward unorthodox fighter, has been on a bad streak. What SHOULD happen?: Ill go straight to the point. I dont see how different will it be from the Laliberté Vs Stout fight. I think were going to have a good showcase of Horodeckis talent. Horodecki by KO in the first Thierry Quenneville Vs Max Marin
Quennevilles particulars: Very well rounded, straightforward but aggressive stand-up game, good wrestler, very methodical and focused, opportunist in the ring. Marins particulars: Very good ground game, has good experience, wants to make his place in TKO. What SHOULD happen?: In good workmanlike fashion, Quenneville should use every tool in his toolbox to take Marin out of his element. Quenneville will use his wrestling skills to remain standing or on top and will pick Marin apart from there. Quenneville by TKO in the third Tyler Jackson Vs Samuel Guillet
Jacksons particulars: Hard hitter, good left hook, strangely hasnt been seen much despite a strong performance against Sam Stout. Guillets particulars: Good boxer, very strong, straightforward but effective ground game, very aggressive and always well focused. What SHOULD happen?: I dont think Guillet is gonna waste anytime trading with a guy like Jackson. Hes more complete and I think hes going toi exploit his training with Fabio Holanda right away and take Jackson down into his world. Guillet by submission in the second (kimura) Dave Parizeau Vs Mike Turner Parizeaus particulars: Somewhat of a good kickboxer, good right hand, fearless, has shown problems defending the takedowns in the past. Turners particulars: Good kickboxer? (I know hes from Shawn Tompkins squad, but I really dont know much more about him) What SHOULD happen?: I hope it turns out into an all-out stand up war. Parizeau just won a kickboxing fight recently so he might be in the mood to slug it out with Turner and I think that is what is going to happen. The fight will start out on the feet and for whatever reason, Parizeau will try to get this on the mat. I think Turner will have to weather a lot of storms, but might be able to make his kickboxing play a big role in this fight. Turner by TKO in the third (cut)
