The main event will feature local superstar, PATRICK THE PREDATOR CÔTÉ, making his long awaited return to TKO after fighting abroad for the past two years with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in Las Vegas. His opponent, CRAFTON WALLACE, is also a very dangerous UFC veteran. This World Middleweight Championship bout has sudden ending written all over it as both athletes are world renowned for their striking abilities! In the co-main event, JONATHAN THE ROAD WARRIOR GOULET, will get his much deserved opportunity to compete for the TKO Welterweight Championship against an opponent to be announced shortly. Also on the card is Steve Bossé, a mega popular hockey enforcer from the North American Hockey League making his long awaited MMA debut; Bossé has been training very hard and his more than just a hockey player has he possesses great boxing skills and incredible punching power. PATRICK COTE was a finalist in the most recent installment of the ultra successful reality show, The Ultimate Fighter. He lost his number one contender bout against a very talented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete, Travis Lutter, but then followed that up with a dominating performance over Scott Smith, a hardnosed striker. Cote is thrilled to be fighting in front of his home town fans and promises, an exciting fight with a spectacular knockout ending. But his opponent, CRAFTON WALLACE (12-3-1), has never been on the short end of a striking duel. He is a Thai Boxing Champion and has only lost to the UFCs very best. This promises to be a thrilling match-up for the fans and is debatably one of the best MMA fights ever to be held on Canadian soil! Who will leave the Bell Centre with the prestigious TKO Middleweight Championship? JONATHAN GOULET may be the most deserving title contender in the history of the sport! Despite his .500 UFC record, Goulet is undefeated in the TKO organization in an incredible 12 bouts! He was originally scheduled to face Steve Vigneault for the vacant title in February, later rescheduled to June 1st. However, Vigneault was forced to withdraw both times due to a reoccurring injury. Goulet is a very charismatic athlete from Victoriaville, Quebec with a legion of devout fans. He is enormous in size and very powerful for a welterweight. He competes with tremendous aggression and is most feared for his relentless ground and pound skills. His opponent will be announced shortly. STEVE BOSSÉ is making his much anticipated MMA debut at TKO 29: REPERCUSSION. Bossé intends on changing the face of the Heavyweight Division, one knockout at a time. His first opponent on June 1st will be the hardnosed DAVID FRASER. Bossé has an extensive boxing background which hes definitely shown with his fights on the ice! Some may think a behemoth of his size would be just another one dimensional Heavyweight slugger. Bossé intends on proving those doubters wrong as hes committed five days a week on top of his rigorous hockey schedule to train MMA with Marc Colangelo (a purple belt under Renzo Gracie) and Stephane Dubé (TKOs number one lightweight contender).
