Patrick Cote vs. Robbie Lawler
“The Predator” Patrick Cote will return to the TKO ring where he started his career and will take on the very popular UFC veteran The “Ruthless” one, Robbie Lawler. This fight promises to be a great one and will be the main event on a card that promises to be one of the strongest TKO cards ever. Patrick Cote is coming off a loss in the UFC against fellow Canadian and Jiu Jitsu black belt Joe Doerksen in a bout that many people felt he was winning until the fight finishing rear naked choke.
Robbie Lawler is one of the most popular young fighters in the UFC, but is coming of a submission loss to the current Middleweight champion of the UFC Evan Tanner. He will be making his way to TKO for the first time. MMARR received a quote from Cote who remarked “Lawler better sneak a shovel with him into the ring if he expects to be able to knock me out. On the other hand, when I hit him he’s going to swear as if he has just been hit by a truck. If Nick Diaz was able to knock him out, all I have left to say is oh my!” The fight is looking to be a very exciting one as both fighters are well known as bangers in the ring.
