The highly-anticipated showdown between Renato “Babalu” Sobral (35-8) and Gegard Mousasi (25-2-1), which was suddenly cancelled byAffliction last week has been revitalized and will be contested with Sobral’s STRIKEFORCE World Light Heavyweight (205 pounds) Championship on the line.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – A special 30 minute episode featuring a collection of the 10 greatest knockouts in Strikeforce mixed martial arts (MMA) history will premiere on NBC Saturday night.

Scott Smith took care of business knocking out UFC veteran Terry Martin at only 24 seconds of the first round, Renato Sobral took the light heavyweight title from TUF 1 veteran Bobby Southworth with a cut stoppage, Dunae Ludwig defeated Yves Edwards, Joe Riggs took out Luke Stewart, and Randy Couture's wife Kim Couture took out Lina Kvokov with a TKO.

Pride veteran Mitsuhiro Ishida will (16-4-1) will make his US debut at the Playboy Mansion against AKA stalwart Justin Wilcox.  Ishida was on an 8-fight winning streak with wins over UFC veteran David Bielkheden , Paul Rodriguez, and Marcus Aurelio before losing to Takanory Gomi and most recently Caol Uno.
