Pardoe named Fighter of the Night
Rage in the Cage ( RITC ) kicked off the new year with a full house crowd at Dodge Theater in Phoenix.

Headliner Bryan Pardoe made short work of pro boxer Rich Alten. Pardoe landed a crisp right to the jaw which spun his opponent 180 degrees. Veteran Pardoe seized the opportunity to take Alten's back, get the take down and the submission by rear naked choke just 15 seconds into round 1. This impressive showing earned Fighter of the Night ( FOTN ) honors for Pardoe.

Other candidates for FOTN honors were Ray Elbe, Jeremiah Shivers, John Erickson, Rodney Hammonds, Jeremy Neer, Aaron Acero, Joe Lira, Dominic Cruz and Robert Davis.

Prominent fighters Joe Riggs and Jason Chambers were on hand to toss AttackMode fight gear to the appreciative crowd. Frank Mir trainer, Ricardo Pires was on hand to corner a LVCC fighter and Massachusetts Promoter Bruce Marshall traveled 2500 miles to enjoy RITC and to hopefully set up a future fighter exchange.
