Despite a devastating loss to Vitor Belfort at Affliction, the multi-talented Matt Lindland has some very big things in the works including a movie premier.  Here is an excerpt from the press release.

"On Tuesday February 10th at 7pm "FIGHTING POLITICS", The Story of Cage Fighter Matt "The Law" Lindland will be PREMIERING at The 2009 Spokane International Film Festival in Spokane Washington.  "FIGHTING POLITICS" is one of four US films in this Festival of 33.  This is the 11th Annual Festival for SIFF.  Admission is $10. Cage Fighter Matt "The Law" Lindland had to earn his nickname the hard way, through perseverance and a good lawyer.  Back in 2000 Matt was in one of the biggest political sports messes ever, resulting in his case on the steps of the supreme court.  His success in the Sport of Mixed Martial Arts came to an abrupt halt as politics came knocking on his door again.  This is his story.
