Slovenia features WFC 2 this Saturday MMA Ring Report has learned UFC and Pride veteran Pedro Rizzo, who was set to make his return to MMA would fight Dutch fighter Rodney Faverus in the main event of World Free Fight Challenge 2, will now not happen. According to the organization, Pedro Rizzo injured his knee during training and he will not be able to fight this Saturday. Pedro is now in Holland to see a doctor. Replacing the fight between Rizzo and Faverus, WFC2 production added Brazilian Pride veteran Jose Pele Landi. The former chuteboxer fights Russian Alexander Shlemenko in the main event of the night. The fight will be a rematch of Jungle Fight 5, when José Pele defeated Shlemenko by judges decision, in November of 2005. Coming from two loses (Travis Lutter at Cage Rage 15 and Thales Leites at Jungle Fight 6), Pelé (21-11-0) promises to give his best to leave the ring as a champion. On the other hand, the Russian fighter is also coming off a loss last March, at Jungle Fight 6, The Russian was submitted by another Brazilian: BJJ black belt world champion Ronaldo Jacaré. The other fight awaited by the local audience will be between Brazilian Fabricio Nascimento taking on Belgiums Lubomir Gedzev. Nascimento, a BJJ black belt from Nova União, who is well known in the European scene, where he fought several times in England, Italy and Sweden. "I know I will fight a ground specialist.
