 The River Cree Combative Sports Commission presents a Mixed Martial Arts seminar by noted MMA official Herb Dean.
On Saturday November 24, one of the most recognized and experienced officials in mixed martial arts, Herb Dean, will present a seminar designed for officials (referees and judges). This seminar will be open to anyone wanting to get involved in becoming an official or for those individuals who are currently working as officials and want to expand their knowledge. For those interested in exploring the sport of mixed martial arts from the perspective of being an official, and working for an Athletic Commission, this is a great seminar to attend.
*The seminar runs between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on November 24th, at the River Cree Resort and Casino, and includes a lunch for all participants.
*The River Cree Resort and Casino is located a few minutes outside of Edmonton and for out of town guests there is a Marriott hotel attached to the resort. For more information www.rivercreeresort.com
*The cost is $50.00
*Herb Dean will also be a guest referee the preceding evening on November 23, at the Maximum Fighting Championship High Rollers event being held at the River Cree Resort and Casino.
*Please note: Participation in the seminar does not immediately qualify any individual to become a licensed official for any Athletic Commission.
