ImageSturgis, South Dakota – February 12, 2008 – Glencoe Nation (Glencoe), host to many of most exciting events during the annual Sturgis Bike Week and Rock’n the Rally has announced a strategic partnership with iBN Sports, a leader in Internet sports network programming. Glencoe will partner with iBN Sports’ loyal worldwide audience as it broadens its reach via the Internet on the iBN Sports website http://www.ibnsports.com through Live broadcast of select concerts, sporting events, MMA Fights, celebrity autograph sessions, drag racing, Miss Sturgis contest, celebrity poker, live interview messages to U.S. Armed Forces, and footage from other events held during the month of August 4-10, 2008 at the Glencoe Nation Campgrounds.

“This partnership with iBN Sports is a key step in the expansion of our entertainment and services to the fans and enthusiast who have been a part of Sturgis Bike Week,” said Gary Lippold, President of Glencoe Nation. “We are excited to add this new dimension of our own dedicated Internet TV channel that will allow for additional coverage, viewership, and fans from around the world to be part of the Sturgis Bike Week experience.”

“iBN Sports is committed to quality programming that is highly relevant, entertaining to its fans, and forward thinking in the manner and format in which it is delivered, and this partnership with Glencoe Nation underscores that commitment,” said Michael Conley, Executive Vice President of iBN Sports. “Not only will we be broadcasting a line-up of events during the week, iBN Sports will deliver those behind the scene stories and interviews that fans will not want to miss. There is something about bikes, celebrities, MMA Fights, sports and rock ‘n roll that makes for a powerful combination, and iBN Sports will be there to capture that experience.” Since 2005, Glencoe has played host to some of the biggest headliners playing in the newly constructed 34-acre amphitheatre: Joan Jett, Smashmouth, 38 Special, Godsmack, Fuel, Eddie Money, Zwarte Sammy Hagar, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Steve Miller Band, Big & Rich, The Black Crowes, Keith Urban and Joe Cocker.

This marks the 26th Anniversary of Glencoe CampResort, named after a majestic valley in the Highlands of Scotland. Part of Sturgis Bike Week is the Thunder Road experience, showcasing hundreds of the top custom vendors within a 40,000 square feet attraction known as Thunderdome. "We have worked hard to make sure Thunder Road has become an integral part of Sturgis Bike Week and the place to go for bike shows. We think this year will be the best yet, with more shows and cool events than ever before," said Lippold. “Sturgis is the one-week of the year where hard-core bikers and weekenders alike can come together, shed their inhibitions and let it all hang out.”
