Eric Pele Vs Dan Christiansen

The main event started quickly with both fighters exchanging hard blows to the head and body and both fighters looking spry and moving well despite their monstrous frames. Much of the fight was spent against the fence with Christiansen pinning him against the fence and both fighters exchanging knee’s to the body. Larry Landless had to restart the fight 3 times, for inactivity and the third time was the charm for Pele, he was able to land a crippling right hook on the chin of Christiansen that wobbled the his knee’s and sent him to the canvas. Jeremy Horn Vs Vernon White

In a somewhat controversial decision, Jeremy Horn def Vernon White by decision. Jeremy horn started the fight off strong by securing the lift in White’s corner walking him over to his own corner and slamming him hard against the canvas to send a surge through the crowd. White was clearly stunned from the big slam and Horn was able to go to back mount and secure a good position for himself. He looked for opportunities to sink his hooks in, but White kept himself tight and Horn was unable to generate any substantial offence and punish White. Much of the fight was spent with Horn repeatedly securing the takedowns, and working the ground game, but he mounted very little offense from there. White was able to defend well till he could work his way to his feet or the round was up and he was able to start from his feet again. White was clearly superior on the feet and he was repeatedly able to land solid leg kicks and head kicks. Most of the head kicks were blocked but they clearly took there toll on Horn and he did look to be the worse for the wear after the fight. Rinse, and Repeat. The whole fight followed a similar pattern and to the dismay of the crowd and the Lion’s Den, the Unanimous decision victory was awarded to Horn. White was clearly the more damaging fighter, but Horn was in control of the position in much of the fight, although he had little to no offence from the ground, and with White being the Champion some felt that Horn did not do enough to take the belt away from the champ. None the less Horn was awarded the unanimous decision.

Shonie Carter Vs Ronald Jhun

In a back and forth affair Ronald Jhun was able to fend of the always exciting and always unpredictable "Mr International" Shonie Carter. Reversal after Reversal was the name of the game and the five round fight was up in the air till the final bell. Shonie Carter looked like he his cardio faded in the later rounds and Jhun was able to take advantage in the later rounds. At one point Jhun was able to fight off a very deep Kimura for what seemed like several minutes minutes, absorbing the pain and fending off the potentially fight ending submission that Shonie looked to spend a lot of energy trying to finish. In the end though Jhun was able to do enough to secure the win. Ronald Jhun def Shonie Carter by decision

Dan Severn Vs Cory Timmerman

The 19 year old Rage in the Cage veteran, Cory Timmerman who was announced as 310 pounds looked to have the youth advantage and size advantage, but his size could be described as less then all muscle. Coming out in a Red Mohawk and a physique that could match that of many a barroom patron in Vegas, started off strong but faded quickly as his mass and size advantage quickly changed to a disadvantage. After getting taken down he was unable to get off his back, a failed smother attempt was all he could muster and it was Severn from there. Severn was able to sneak out the back door and controlled the rest of the fight trapping him against the fence and punishing him with rights hands, knee’s from the front headlock position, and elbows and forearms from sidemount. The ground and Pound was the order of the day and Severn was able to pass the guard easily and beat Timmerman down with relative ease. A game Timmerman and his "Never Say Die" attitude gutted his way to the final bell despite eating elbows, knee’s, and punches for the whole fight. Dan Severn def Cory Timmerman by decision

Joe Stevenson Vs Thomas Denny

The smack talk and name calling came to a head but in the end it was a little anticlimactic as Joe Stevenson quickly secured his favourite Submission, the Guillotine Choke, right off the get go, Coming out dressed like some kind of samurai with a wicker hat and a robe, the former Milenia fighter and now Team Oyama member Denny was unable to secure the win. Joe Crilly Vs Art Santore

Crilly looked to be the harder hitter but the inferior grappler, and in a back and forth bout Santore found the back of Crilly and after a failed rear naked choke attempt, rained unprotected blows to the side of the head of Crilly until the ref had no option but to stop the bout.
