Los Angeles, CA (Jan 21, 2009) – MMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko and former UFC heavyweight championship Andrei Arlovski, along with Affliction Entertainment, M-1 Global and Golden Boy Promotions gathered at the House of Blues today in Hollywood, Calif., for the final press conference.
Affliction M-1 “Day of Reckoning” will take place on January 24, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA and live on Pay-Per-View. The card includes is headlined by Emelianenko vs. Arlovski and features Josh Barnett, Vitor Belfort, Thierry Sokoudjou, Renato “Babalu” Sobral and Matt Lindland on the PPV broadcast beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
Free on HDNet, will be the preliminary fights at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT which will feature 5 bouts including Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Antonio Nogueira as the main event.
