Fedor Emelianenko will make his way to the biggest grappling tournament in the entire world, this according to Kid Peligro of ADCC news. The Pride and WAMMA champion, who is considered by many to be the best heavyweight in the entire world, will compete in the ADCC for the first time in his career. Emelianenko is coming off a disappointing loss in combat sambo, a sport he has owned in recent years going undefeated in the sport for over seven years.
Also joining the submission grappling organization is Gegard Mousassi, who has had an unbelievable year in MMA winning the Dream Middleweight Grand Prix and defeating Jiu Jitsu black belts, Denis Kang and Ronaldo Jacare Souza in the process.
Jacare remains a potential opponent for Mousasi, this time in the realm of submission wrestling, while the current ADCC middleweight champion Demian Maia, of the UFC is also a possibility.
