The Adrenaline Fighting Championships opened its inaugural event sporting a lineup that featured such American standouts as Chris The Westside Strangler Brennan and Canadian stalwarts Ulysses Castro, Jason McDonald and Jason The Sumo Samurai St Louis. His main events proved to be the best fights of the night and the remaining card was solid throughout mixed in with an amateur or two. The crowd seemed a little thinner than first hoped, but those that were in attendance were treated to a solid night of action that saw its main events live up to the hype. |

With the death of the President of the Pride organization, shadows of doubt had crept into the once strong feeling of invincibility the show had garnered after their very strong Pride Shockwave show. With the money that the Pride organization has thrown around in past years it was obvious that they were capable of putting on super shows with enormous upsides, unfortunately some shows have not turned out that way. |

The main event started quickly with both fighters exchanging hard blows to the head and body and both fighters looking spry and moving well despite their monstrous frames. Much of the fight was spent against the fence with Christiansen pinning him against the fence and both fighters exchanging knee's to the body. Larry Landless had to restart the fight 3 times, for inactivity and the third time was the charm for Pele, he was able to land a crippling right hook on the chin of Christiansen that wobbled the his knee's and sent him to the canvas. Eric Pele def Dan Christiansen 4:50 R1 by TKO |

March 13th 2004, The Xtreme Fighting Organization, which was originally scheduled to take place in Illinois, held its inaugural event in Fontana due to recent legal woes which forced the migration north of the border. No matter, migration or no migration, solid co-main events and an evenly matched undercard set the stage for a night of fights that kept a capacity crowd on their feet. |

The biggest show in the history of the KOTC was decimated by injuries In what turned out to be an injury fest as much as an MMA card. The KOTC did good job of doing what they could to fill out a card that was rapidly filling the local hospices with injury riddled fighters that would not be able to compete in the KOTC on this day. In fact almost every fight was in some way, involved in some sort of injury to a fighter. The unfortunate events inevitably took its toll on the Card. |

November 1st, 2002, Silver Legacy Reno, Nevada was home to King of the Cage "Sudden Impact." On a cold Fall night, things quickly heated up as a sold-out crowd waited anxiously to watch a line-up filled with veteran competitors as well as, up and comers. Even though the original main event was to be Pele vs. Bobish, with Pele failing his eye exam, the new main event between heavyweights Paul "Headhunter" Buentello vs. Mike "Mak" Kyle didn't disappoint fight fans. |

With only a few short days left before the biggest event in UCC History was to take place, The UCC suffered a crippling string of injuries that robbed it of some of the biggest names on the card and left it without three of it's main events. Pride has always been an organization that has placed the value of a sporting event in the excitement, and the excitement alone. The Common logistics that are involved in promoting a big time sports event have never been the same factor it has been in some other organizations. The concept of Number one contenders, rankings, and Belts have never settled into a comfortable niche in Pride. No time was that more evident then during the PPV broadcast of the Pride Shockwave event three days after the actual event took place in Japan. |
