Robbie Lawler is out of his proposed bout with Patrick Cote. The potentially entertaining fight was set to take place at TKO 21 Collision in Montreal Quebec in the main event but that will now have to wait. The TKO organization and their president Stephane Patry is currently hard at work on finding a replacement fighter for Lawler but initial reports of Jorge Rivera appear to be premature. It is unknown at this time who the replacement will be. -MMARR- |

In the main event of the evening, former MMA Bad Boy Bobby Hoffman stepped up on less than 2 weeks notice to take on the 300 lb. plus Eric Pele for the KOTC unlimited belt. Both fighters looked to land from the clinch using knees and dirty boxing, with not much landing. Towards the end of the first round, Hoffman nearly finished Pele with a takedown and strikes from the side mount, but the bell proved to be Peles best friend as he was saved in the first. |
