The TKO 22 "Lionheart" Weigh ins have come and gone and there are some interesting story lines with Steve Vigneault making his first foray into the welterweight division after spending his whole MMA career at Middleweight and Lightheavyweight. He is coming off two losses as well as some boxing losses so his mental state may be a big factor in the outcome of this fight. His first bout with Jason St. Louis was one of the best fights in TKO/UCC history and if the second bout is anything like the first the fans will be in for a treat. |

With TKO 22 "Lionheart" coming up next Friday, I thought i'd experiment with a different way of doing previews and I will be trying something a bit more simple and methodical. I will be comparing each fighter's strengths and weakness and extrapolating a prediction on what SHOULD happen, minus the chaos factor of a fight. So, my analysis is about what SHOULD happen. I'd like to have your general feedback about this formula. TKO 22 will be taking place at the Pierre Charbanneau centre in Montreal on September 30th. |

The Kentucky Fighting Challenge returned to its home in Lexington, KY with another action packed night of MMA action. The promoter, Jimmy MC, once again packed the Continental Inn with a solid 13 fight card of up and coming amateurs looking to make their mark in the ring. With only one fight that even made it out of the first round, there were plenty of KOs and submissions to go around. |

Due to medical issues it appears that Antonio Banuelos will not be fighting on the upcoming WFF 9 event that is set to take place tomorrow at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. Banuelos was set to fight Max Marin in the main event of the card but his medicals did not make the deadline for the Vancouver Athletic commission and the fight was cut. |
