Image: Grimshaw finishing Causey with an arm bar. Chilliwack, BC - It took only thirty two seconds for Revolution Fight
Team member, Brian Grimshaw, to execute a letter perfect arm bar and
finish the previously undefeated Brad Causey in the main event of
Valley Fight five. In what turned out to be the shortest contest on the
eight bout card; it was Causey who went on the attack early with a
solid takedown. However, the muscular Causey found himself caught in
the full guard of Grimshaw. From there, Grimshaw took little time to
attack an arm and finish with the submission. With the win, Grimshaw
upped his record to 3 - 0 with all three W's coming by way of
submission in the first round. |

Lynnwood, WA, December 8, 2007 - Match-making an mma event is not easy. It's a tricky balance of contracts, managers, bravado, and of course a little luck. It's an even harder equation when the athletes are amateurs; not fighting for big money or endorsements deals, but simply for the love of the sport. |
