With the pinpoint swing of his right hand David Terrell threw the UFC middleweight division on it's ear. Matt The Law Lindland is no longer the king of the middleweight hill, and while one loss certainly does not eliminate him from the middleweight picture completely, it has certainly raised a hurdle in his seemingly unstoppable run.

Dana White thanked Vitor Belfort for staying for the post fight press conference when he was scheduled to go to get checked up at the hospital. Justing Eilers, Mike Kyle, Joe Doerkson and Joe Riggs were not at the post fight press conference, for a variety of physical ailments that needed to be taken care of. The Sushiboy was on hand to videotape the Post Fight Press Conference so that will be up soon as well as several Video Interviews conducted by "The Sushiboy" Arnold Lim.

The weigh ins were uneventful this time around, and the only time there was any heat was when Vernon "Tiger" White and Chuck Liddell did the good old fashion staredown. Ronald Jhun came in overweight at lbs as did Josh Thomson who came in at 156 but with the one pound allowance he was fine. His opponent Yves Edwards was confident stepping on the scale coming in eating a Hershey's chocolate bar. In fact he even offered Thomson a little and Thomson obliged by eating a piece. Unfortunately I was having some Camera trouble and my camera was out of commission, for a short period while I switched Camera's. Weights are as follows.

Fight 1 Murilo Bustamante vs. Kazuhiro Nakamura Kazuhiro Nakamura is getting opportunity after opportunity to make a name for himself and you have to wonder if it is too much too soon. He is trained by Olympic Judo Gold medallist Hidehiko Yoshida and is spearheading the Judo vs. Jiu Jitsu battle that the Japanese audience so loves to see, a tall order for a man with only 24 years to his name.

The Kentucky Fighting Championships 5 stormed into Lexington, KY with 19 action packed fights. With three titles up for grabs fighters traveled from Canada, Virginia, Massachusetts, Indiana, Las Vegas, and all throughout the state of Kentucky to have the opportunity to display their talents at the show and the packed crowd in attendance roared as the fights began for the night.

From Dream Stage Entertainment August 4, 2004 LOS ANGELES, California The seventh and final match for FINAL CONFLICT 2004 has been announced and will feature Brazilian Top Teams Murilo Bustamante versus Kazuhiro Nakamura of the Yoshida Dojo. This is in addition to the semi-finals and finals of the sixteen-man heavyweight tournament and the previously announced non-tournament matches.

In terms of events, things have slowed down a little with no TKO event till September, but there is also a new show in Montreal called Apex and they are looking to make some noise out east.
