 EliteXC announced the that Kimbo Slice will meet UFC Hall of
Fame fighter Ken Shamrock at the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida. In other action Jake Shields will face Paul Daley, Gina Carano will face Kelly Kobald, Christiane Santos will face Yoko Takahashi, and Murilo Rua will face Benji Radach.

 MMA Fighter BJ Lacy has tested positive for Marijuana. The fighter who competed at Pure Combat “Hardcore” on August 15, 2008 was fined $500.00 and has been suspended through November 13. 2008. He lost his bout to Emanuel Newton by choke.

UFC President Dana White will appear on this week's episode of "Criss Angel: Mindfreak," a half-hour show hosted by illusionist (and UFC fan) Criss Angel.
The episode airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on A&E.

Veteran K-1 kickboxers Patrick Barry (3-0) and Andre Walker (2-3) have agreed to meet at "Strikeforce: Payback" on Oct. 3.
The California-based organization announced the bout late Sunday.
The heavyweight fight is the latest addition to a quickly forming fight card for "Payback," which takes place at the Broomfield Event Center near Denver and marks Strikeforce's Colorado debut. ...

According to Sherdog, former IFL fighter Benji Radach (18-4) has confirmed to them that he will be taking Murilo “Ninja” Rua (16-8-1) at the next EliteXC on CBS show set for October 4th.
