ImageEDMONTON, ALBERTA: April 4, 2008 - The King of the Cage returned to the West Edmonton Mall with "Brawl at the Mall 3" and hometown fighter Travis Galbraith was able to regain the light-heavyweight championship belt he lost from Nick Hinchliffe five months before. The bout was a quick one as both fighters tied up almost immediately to kick off the main event. Galbraith who was able to secure the front headlock position from the clinch, fastened his arms around Hinchliffe's neck, and eventually sank in a solid guillotine choke / neck crank combination that forced Hinchliffe to tap out in the main event of the night. Both fighters have notched a win over the other and it appears they are headed for an eventual rubber match to settle the score for good.

ImageBROOMFIELD, COLORADO, April 2, 2008 - Joe Lauzon,  the Ultimate Fighter 5 (TUF 5) veteran, made a name for himself when he knocked out MMA legend Jens Pulver. He is 3-0 in the UFC with a recent victory over Jason Reinhardt in UFC 78. Kenny Florian, TUF 1 runner-up, is coming off a victory over Din Thomas in Fight Night 11.

ImageLAS VEGAS, NEVADA (April 1, 2008) April Fools Spoof - In an an unexpected turn of events , Randy Couture has signed a one-fight contract to return to the UFC. The new one fight contract has effectively nullified their bitter ongoing legal dispute. The legal battle has been raging between the UFC and Randy Couture (Extreme Couture) and sources tell MMARR that with the signing of the contract, the conflict has been resolved and the two fights remaining on the previous contract have been waived. It is believed that Couture has received a healthy raise from the previous two fights remaining on the original four fight contract, and the $500,000 dollar signing bonus he received will not be returned to the UFC.
