Due to medical issues it appears that Antonio Banuelos will not be fighting on the upcoming WFF 9 event that is set to take place tomorrow at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. Banuelos was set to fight Max Marin in the main event of the card but his medicals did not make the deadline for the Vancouver Athletic commission and the fight was cut.

With Melvin Guillard no longer on the show the stage was set for another fighter to step forward and show they were the next great personality in the house. Episode #4 began by depicting Joe Stevenson as slacking off with his training and drinking, all in an attempt to liven things up. Like Melvin previously, Joe would be called out but would the outcome be any different then Melvin's fate?

The Maximum Fighting Championships returned to their hometown with their first show in over two years and made their “resurrection” at the Shaw Conference center, in downtown Edmonton. The MFC would make their return on the same evening as the rematch in the Labour Day classic between the Edmonton Eskimos and Calgary Stampeders who regularly draw 60,000 fans to their home and home series and despite the competition the crowd was healthy and the fights were entertaining.

It was a sizzling hot September evening in Casa Grande for RITC 74. Andy Montana displayed his versatility winning by key lock submission to earn Fighter of the Night ( FOTN ) honors. Other candidates for FOTN honors were Brandon Oliver, Eddie Castro, Dominik Cruz, Gabriel Flores, David Marquez, Mike Ashford and Carlos Ortega.
