Patrick Cote to fight Joe Doerksen? It appears that we may be seeing two Canadians fighting in the UFC for the first time in recent memory. Patrick Cote's original opponent Lee Murray is unable to get into the country and that left the door open for Joe Doerksen to step in and take his spot. Doerksen has actually fought Murray in the past submitting him quickly in the first round. It appears the wait for an opponent is over and Doerksen is the man to take the spot. Cote is coming off a loss to Tito Ortiz at UFC 50 and a close win over Ricardo Francois at TKO 19. -MMARR-

The Next TKO event will take place on the 2nd of April in a new venue, the Metropolis, and is just around the corner. The 20th Pro TKO show takes place tonight and some last minute changes were recently announced. Normally, it's never a good thing to have those changes to a card, but this time around, it was a blessing for the fans who will witness this show live. In addition to the much anticipated 145 pounds championship fight between Mark Hominick and Stephane Vigneault, TKO was able to bring in UFC veteran Tony Fryklund and James Martinez to face Jonathan Goulet and Donald Ouimet respectively, and it should provide extra drama for everyone involved.

The WFF made it's long awaited return to Vancouver and if there were two words to describe the night they would be Quick Submissions as 6 of the seven fights ended by submission in the first half of the first round! The duration of all seven fights combined came out to a grand total of 20 minutes and 21 seconds! Every fighter on the night seemed intent on pushing the action so there were no lulls in the action, call it my own selfish love for MMA, but it seemed the night went by just a little too fast. I would have loved to have seen one or two more fights, but the late drop outs were a matter of bad luck and were clearly not the fault of the promoters. The full report of all the nights action is as follows.
