Alex Karalexis from season one of "The Ultimate Fighter" will be taking on Jason Von Flue who is a fighter from "The Ultimate Fighter 2". This will be TUF 1 vs. TUF 2 in a welterweight bout featuring the first TUF 1 vs. TUF 2 veteran matchup in UFC history. The only other time that a TUF 1 veteran faced a TUF 2 veteran was when a Coach, Rich Franklin took on contestant Nate Quarry at UFC 56.

Duane Bang Ludwig will be replacing Jeremy Jackson in an upcoming fight at Ultimate Fight Night 3. It appears that Jeremy Jackson who is also known as a striker hurt his pectoral muscle and would be unable to take the fight. Opponent Jonathan Goulet will be making his second UFC appearance and is a trainer partner and close friend to UFC Welterweight stand out Georges St. Pierre.

Kudos for Kid Dynamite!
OSAKA, December 31, 2005 -- Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto beat Genki Sudo to become the first fighter to wear the Hero's Middle Weight Championship Belt. Yamamoto needed less than one round to achieve the feat at the Osaka Dome K-1 Premium Dynamite event.
