MFC 12 Weigh in Photo's

The MFC weigh ins took place at the New River Rock Casino in Edmonton Alberta and everything is set for what should be the best MFC ever. With a card that features Jimmy Ambriz taking on Scott Junk for the MFC heavyweight title, Victor Valimaki taking on Marcus Hicks in a light heavyweight non title fight and BJJ Black Belt Fabio Holanda will take on the undefeated Shaun Krysa in a lightweight battle.

In the weigh ins Shane Biever, the opponent for Halifax fighter Roger Hollett did not make the weigh ins as he was reportedly on his way to Edmonton but everyone else was on hand for the ”Faux” weigh ins, which took place at 7:00 pm in front of the camera’s after the weigh ins that took place at the West Edmonton Mall at 4:00pm.

Scott Junk's original opponent Wade Shipp is is reportedly injured so filling in on short notice is "The Titan", an accurate moniker to be sure for a mountain of a man that looked confident stepping to the scales. He will step in against Junk as the MFC heavyweight belt is up for grabs for the first time. Victor Valimaki will not have his title on the line against Marcus Hicks, despite being the Lightheavyweight champion. the title will reportedly be on the line in the next MFC event taking place on August 24th at the River Cree Casino. MFC 12 takes place in Edmonton Alberta at the Shaw Conference Centre with the even starting at 7:30 pm.
