Mark Pavelich, owner and president of the Maximum Fighting Championship, is pleased to announce the signing of FHM magazine model Elizabeth McLean to the position of spokesmodel for the MFC. There is no question that Elizabeth is a beautiful woman but her role with the MFC goes far beyond just showcasing her beauty, said Mr. Pavelich. Elizabeth is going to be featured in our advertising campaigns including T.V. commercials, billboards and posters. She is going to have an important presence at our press conferences, weigh-ins and seminars and be a part of all of our charitable events. In FHM, Elizabeth has appeared on such pages as 20 Hot Dates, World Lingerie Tour, and Ladies Confidential and she is currently among the contenders for Miss FHM 2006. Elizabeth, who will also be the MFCs lead ring card girl on fight nights, is currently featured in FHMs Australian edition. I am ecstatic about being signed by the MFC, said Elizabeth, who is no stranger to the world of mixed martial arts having studied jiu jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing and wrestling. I havent accepted any signing deals with any other organizations or any modeling agencies because neither the organizations nor the timing were ever right. I believe that the MFC is different from other organizations. It is truly rooted in professional sport and it delivers what it promises. Elizabeth has taken a particular interest in working with the growing number of the MFCs charitable endeavours. That is one thing that really touches my heart that the MFC really cares about the community, said Elizabeth. I am extremely excited about the upcoming charity events and I want to encourage everyone to get involved with these events. In addition to her work with FHM, Elizabeth has previously appeared in such publications as UMM, IGN Entertainment, Supermodels Unlimited and Double XL. She has also worked on advertising campaigns for MAC Cosmetics, The Brick, Bad Girls Design, Keatley Clothing and Benson & Hedges. MFC 10 A September to Remember The Maximum Fighting Championship, which is based in Edmonton, is also pleased to announce that its next show is scheduled for Sept. 8, 2006 at the Shaw Conference Centre. MFC 10 Unfinished Business will continue the tradition of action-packed mixed martial arts action featuring world-class middleweight Jason The Athlete MacDonald as well as Victor The Matrix Valimaki in a No. 1 contenders bout for the MFC light heavyweight championship. A number of other elite MMA fighters will be on the card. Tickets for MFC 10 Unfinished Business go on sale Monday, June 12 and are available by calling (780) 995-9095. www.maximumfighting.com
