Jason The Athlete MacDonalds rise in the UFC continues to be nothing short of meteoric. And after devastating submission victories over Ed Herman at Ultimate Fight Night on Spike TV and Chris Leben at UFC 66 on pay-per-view, MacDonald will return to the Octagon for his biggest test yet at UFC 68: The Uprising. On March 3 in Columbus, Ohio, MacDonald will square off against former UFC middleweight champion Rich Ace Franklin. Jason "The Athlete" MacDonald is just hours away from making his dream become a reality. As he sits in his hotel room, the anticipation is obvious. He can almost taste stepping into the UFC Octagon for the very first time, but he's still a full day from that happening. There's really no tension in the room as MacDonald is cool and calm - the essence of a prepared fighter despite his unfamiliar surroundings. |
