Nick Hinchliffe facing off against Pride veteran Travis Galbraith

Baxter Redfern was at the KOTC November Rain weigh ins at the Aquatic Centre and everything is set to go for tomorrow at the Frank Crane Arena in Nanaimo B.C. The main event will feature Pride Veteran Travis Galbraith taking on Nick Hinchliffe. Not much is known about Hinchliffe but his opponent is well known in Canadian MMA circles. He is a Pride veteran having fought on the Pride USA event against Kazuhiro Nakamura. This will be a light heavyweight contest but he has actually competed at 170 lbs in the past, against UFC veteran Jonathan Goulet and and former UFC WW champion Georges St. Pierre.

The semi main event will feature Chris Peak rematching Marcus Hicks. They fought once before in Langley B.C over 4 years ago, and Peak got the upper hand in that fight taking the victory via Kimura. Hicks will be looking for revenge against the game Peak who is on a 2 fight win streak. Just three weeks ago he knocked out Lee Mein in Lethbridge and will be looking for more of the same against Hicks.

You did a hell of a job bro and meeting afterwards at the foundary was cool. I wish you all the best in your future boughts and who knows, you might even get to finish that first round on me yet. It was a pleasure meeting you. PEACE OUT BRO.
