The coaches for the Ultimate Fighter 8 have been announced
and it will be Rodrigo Nogueira and Frank Mir facing off against each other as
coaches and then as fighters at the conclusion of TUF 8. A departure from
previous TUF seasons, both coaches come in known primarily for their Jiu Jitsu.
The program is scheduled to air starting September 17 but is set to go into
production in May. No cast members are known at this time but the weight
classes will be light heavyweights and lightweights.

SAITAMA, May 11, 2008 -- American wrestler Eddie Alvarez
beat Norwegian shooto fighter Joachim Hansen in a thriller; while Japanese
mixed martial arts legend Caol Uno won in the Main Event at tonight's DREAM.3
Lightweight Grand Prix 2008 2nd Round.
Held at the Saitama Super Arena, DREAM.3 featured winners
from the inaugural DREAM event meeting in a trio of bouts in the 70 kg/154 lbs
Lightweight class, with victors advancing to the Osaka DREAM.5 Lightweight GP
Final in July. The card included five additional contests in a variety of
weight classes. All bouts were conducted under Official DREAM Rules, (1stR x 10
min, 2ndR x 5min).

Press Conference for MFC 16: Anger Management
will take place on Wednesday, May 7 at 3 p.m. at Centre Bar in the
River Cree Resort and Casino. MFC 16: Anger Management is set for
Friday, May 9 inside The Venue at River Cree. And for the ninth
straight fight card, the show is officially sold out another example
of the fans demand to see the best mixed martial arts action which
they have come to expect from the MFC.

Eight count suit alleges HDNet's unifying mixed martial arts organization, "HDNet Fights" is the work product of the NABC.
Indianapolis, IN April 25, 2008 -- "HDNet Fights", the unifying mixed
martial arts organization televised on Mark Cuban's HDNet cable
channel, should cease operations immediately because it was born out of
a breach of trust, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other harmful
actions on the part of HDNet, the North American Boxing Council (NABC)
said in a lawsuit filed March 17th in the Marion Superior Court in
Indianapolis, Indiana.

EDMONTON, AB - The Maximum Fighting Championship
has signed Wayne Cole to step into the spotlight of a fight with Eric
Big E Pele at MFC 16: Anger Management on Friday, May 9 at the River
Cree Resort and Casino. Cole, who is riding a three-fight winning
streak, replaces Gary Goodridge who was injured in training and
suffered a back injury.
