Top Ten Wish List for 2002
MMA News Written by Arnold "The Sushiboy" Lim

ImageChristmas is now a distant memory and the New Years greeting have already begun to wear thin. It is now time for us to make stern New Years resolutions, resolutions that we will undoubtedly break in half before February rolls around. It is time to start wishing for the things we look forward to getting from Santa Claus on Christmas for the coming year. I will start my wish list early so Santa can have a head start on my gifts for the coming Christmas. I have compiled a list of the ten things I want for Christmas for the year 2002.

Mr. Pound for Pound
MMA News Written by "The Sushiboy" Arnold Lim

ImageWho is the Greatest Pound for Pound ?
Pound for Pound, who is the greatest Mixed Martial Arts fighter in the world right here, right now? This obtrusive and unanswerable question has been tainting my sleep of late by seducing my still lying brain cells into analyzing and computing when it hardly has enough shut eye to begin with.

Dollars and Sense

Image"Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. "The Rock"
The headline sounds a lot like a pro wrestling match on a WWF Pay Per View event. I personally don't watch Pro wrestling, but the fact that I know who those two people are and what they do, speaks volumes about the type of popularity the WWF currently enjoys. Any MMA match up regardless of how well built up or thought out, just does not carry the same name value as any match up in the WWF.

The Cage vs. The Ring

Which MMA fighting environment is better suited for more exciting, less inhibitive MMA fights? Is it a ring or a cage? The difference between the two is undeniable, the arguments controversial, and the ire of the fans who hate one or the other, insatiable. I write this article knowing, the possibility is high that I am going to take a caning that would make Thailanders proud, from those who will see this article as a comparison between the two MMA powers, the UFC and PRIDE.
